60 people attended the lecture in Newark, DE with 18 newcomers. They sold one Science and Health and gave a lot of Sentinels. A visitor from Bulgaria enjoyed the helicopter view of prayer. An African-American told me he isn't a Christian Scientist but he learned a lot about prayer tonight. He said he now had lots of specific ways to improve his prayer life and that he was glad he'd come with his sister, who is studying Christian Science. A fifteen year old took extensive notes filling a sheet of paper. When his mother asked if he liked it, he said he now knew how to pray. Several visitors told me it was practical. Others liked that the talk was based in the Bible.

Several church members expressed gratitude for the lecture prep, saying it was just what they needed. Christian Scientists attended from nearby cities including Princeton and West Chester.
